Addiction is a disease that affects numerous people around the world. I've seen personally how alcohol and drug abuse affects members of my family and friends. After seeing a very good friend of mine overdose in front of me, I decided that I needed to do something to help the people I love down a different path.
Upon meeting each person, I asked them the same question. "If you can go back in time, before the alcohol or the drugs, what would you say to your younger self." Then I asked them to write a letter to their younger self.
